This stack chocolate oatmeal pancakes was just unreal. So fluffy, chocolatey, moist and delicious. All of the ingredients in this are very healthy. Plus, this chocolate oatmeal pancake recipe is gluten and dairy free. If you love chocolate and love pancakes (like me!), you're going to love these healthy chocolate pancakes!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Pinole Chia Oatmeal Original
  • 1/2 cup milk (We used protein flax milk)
  • 1/2 very ripe banana
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 flax egg for vegan (or regular egg)
  • 1 tbsp sweetener
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Avocado oil
  • Chocolate Syrup: 1 tbsp cacao powder, 2 tbsp almond milk, 1.5 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Blend Pinole Chia Oatmeal, milk, banana, protein powder, cacao, baking powder, flax egg, sweetener, vanilla extract
  2. Grease a pan with oil and cook pancakes at medium heat.
  3. Flip the pancakes when you start to see bubbles on top
  4. For the chocolate syrup, mix together: 1 tbsp cacao powder, 2 tbsp almond milk, 1.5 tbsp maple syrup
  5. Top with your syrup and more chocolate chips and ENJOY this chocolatey breakfast dream πŸ˜πŸ˜‹

Tips

We used avocado oil because it does well at high heat but you can also use coconut oil or anything else you cook with.
